Nicole began her career at a mid-sized regional public accounting firm in 2007 performing financial statement audits for publicly traded companies and insurance entities. Here Nicole gained experience in applying both generally accepted accounting principles and statutory accounting principles to insurance entities, as well as all aspects of financial statement audits and auditing principles. Nicole joined the Wagner and Zwerman  team  in 2011 servicing clients in our Labor Organizations & Taft Hartley Plan department. She provides service to a wide array of labor unions and related benefit plans, and is responsible for all aspects of service delivery for several large clients as well as serving as the senior supervisor of the department. In addition to audits and financial statement preparation, her expertise also extends to all series of LM Forms, Forms 5500 and 990, as well as many other regulatory filings associated with her client base. She takes a client-first approach to servicing her clients. Nicole holds a BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University. Nicole is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
